Nina was a little girl who loved to notice new things in her garden. She wore a neat navy dress and a narrow straw hat. One nice morning, she went outside to see what she could discover.
Near the nettle bush, Nina saw a nest. She nodded and whispered, “What a surprise!” She crept closer and peeked inside.
Inside the nest, she saw nuts, nectar, and a tiny nightingale. The little bird chirped softly.
“Hello, little nightingale! What are you doing?” asked Nina.
“I am looking for nuts to eat,” chirped the bird. “But I can’t reach the tall trees!”
Nina thought carefully. “Don’t worry,” she said. “I will help you!” She picked some nuts from the garden and placed them near the nest. The nightingale nodded happily.
Then Nina and the bird began a nice game. They ran around the nettle bush, counted the nuts, and even noticed new flowers blooming.
“Look! A narrow leaf with nectar!” Nina exclaimed.
After a while, they named all the things in the garden that started with N.
“Nest, nuts, nightingale, nectar, nettle!” Nina laughed.
“Night, new flowers, new friends!” chirped the bird.
As the night grew near, Nina waved goodbye to her new friend. She walked home, nodding happily, thinking about the nice adventure she had. That night, Nina dreamed of nests, nuts, nightingales, and new adventures waiting for her tomorrow.
